Music is an important part of the 10 AM liturgy of Worship and Morning Prayer at Trinity. It is woven throughout each service with abundant opportunity for the congregation to participate in the singing of hymns and service music. The choir has a special role to lead the congregational singing and also to offer an anthem for the glory of God. The choir has been expanding its repertoire by including sophisticated hymns and songs written by modern composers. All music is chosen according to the seasons of the Church Year and the Scriptures appointed for the day. Different styles and types of music are used as well.
The role of music played during the Church services is simple – it is not a concert, but rather an accompaniment whose purpose is to bring the emotional religious experience to the highest level.
