The work over the past two years has restored our window to the inside view of the circa 1962 view seen here.  All this work was made possible thanks to The New York Landmarks Conservancy (NYLC), the Property Services of the Diocese, and The New York Altar Guild, Inc., who have all made generous grants to Trinity Church in support of replacing the frame of our beautiful stained-glass window.

We are very grateful to Bovard Studios, Maple Leaf Restoration, LLC and Stephen Tilly, Architect for all the support and attention to detail they have provided to renew the frame and address the water intrusion issues for our stained-glass window.  Trinty is also very grateful for the generosity of the organizations listed above for their financial support.

Bovard completed the interior portion of the installation in 2023, which included the proper orientation of the top two center panes, which now match the circa 1962 photo above.  Maple Leaf Restoration also completed all interior work which has returned this view to the original one prior to the start of this project.

The new exterior view shows the installed protective double pane thermal pane glazing designed to protect the stained-glass.  Maple Leaf finished the exterior work on the new frame for our stained glass widow in 2024 by adding the trim and painting it.

Maple Leaf has addressed the degradation of the bottom sill of the building.  This huge beam was degraded due to the water leakage that was documented as starting in November of 1991.  Since this work is completed, the project of restoring the frame for our stained glass window is complete.  We express our most sincere gratitude to all who participated in the restoration of this beautiful window and its enclosing frame.  Now we will be able to enjoy this beautiful view for many years.
